"Baruch HaBa" -- Hebrew for Blessed is He who Comes... (in the name of the LORD).
This is a quote from Psalm 118:26 - (Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD).
This is also what the people were quoting when they welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem in Matthew 21:9.
Later, in Matthew 23:38, as Jesus laments of Jerusalem he uses this same phrase, saying "Behold, your
house is being left to you desolate! 39 For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you
say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” So this was after they had already welcomed
him, and now I guess are about to betray Him. Some people thinks this means Jesus will not return the
2nd time til the Jewish people say Blessed is Jesus who comes in the name of the LORD! So this song
celebrates Jesus first coming, and invites his 2nd coming.
