This arrangement of O Holy Night was completed during my time at Oklahoma Wesleyan University,
as an assignment for an orchestration class. This arrangement features the tenderness of Christ becoming an
infant, with soft flute melodies, but also the majesty and splendor of Messiah, the King of Kings, coming to
earth, with resounding brass tones. Bongo and shaker percussion add a festive feel, and saxophones a bit of a
jazz feel. All this celebrating the special night that the virgin bore a son, Immanu-El, God with Us!
